What is Pectus Notebook?

About My Gold Award Project

When I was first diagnosed with pectus excavatum in fifth grade, I struggled to find accurate, medically supported information online. To learn about my condition, my mom and I attended countless doctors' appointments, where she always took notes in a blue notebook. Pectus Notebook, my Girl Scout Gold Award project, is meant to be a resource of easy-to-read, medically supported information on pectus, like my mom's blue notebook.

My goal is to educate and support individuals affected by pectus excavatum. I want to promote awareness and understanding of pectus, and to provide resources and tools to help manage its impact on daily life with medically supported, evidence-based information vetted by medical professionals. I hope it will be a great resource and community for pectus patients around the world!
